Results from the Kerr Lake Bassmasters Summer Brawl

Congratulations to the father and son team of Larry and Mark Inman from Greensboro who took first place with 12.07 lbs.

Second place went to the team of Tony Lamar and Donnie Avant, just behind the Inmans with 12.03 lbs.

Tony took big fish honors with a 3.8 lb. bass.

Congratulations to the team of Tommy Parker and Kevin Hensley who took first place in the Region 5 Team Tournament held July 11 out of Ivy Hill Ramp. Their winning weight was 13.6 lbs.

The sixth annual South Hill Enterprise Catfish tournament will be held on Friday Aug. 20th at the old picnic shelter on Kerr Lake. Registration is from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at the picnic area and is open to the public. This is a family event that has both adult and children's categories. Many prizes including fishing trips and cash prizes will be awarded in each category. This is from the shore fishing with no boats involved. Just bring your chairs, lanterns and fishing supplies along with your $15 entry fee for one rod and $25 for two rods entered.
