Results from Kerr Lake Bassmasters Big Bass Tournament held Decmber 4, 2011 out of Occoneechee State Park

Twelve anglers participated, many 3 lbs. and 4 lbs. fish were brought to the scales. Glen Boyd took the honors for the day with a bass weighing 4.9 lbs. caught on a chatterbait.

Results from Kerr Lake Bassmasters Fall Classic held November 6, 2011 out of Occoneechee State Park

Glenn Boyd of Kerr Lake Bassmasters presents the Big Fish prize to Craig Rust with a 4.94 lbs. bass.

Glen presents First Place to the team of Chad and C.G. Hicks of Rockville, VA with 13.67 lbs.

Glen presents Second Place to Bobby Crisman. Partner J.T. Palmore is not pictured. They weighed 12.32 lbs.

Congratulations to Jason Houchins of Kerr Lake Bassmasters who took top honors in the Virginia Bass Federation Fall Classic held on Lake Gaston with a two day total of 23.36 lbs.

8 teams braved the rain and participated this year. First place went to the team of Jacob Ferrell (l) and Bill Burton (r) with 12.30 lbs.. Jacob took big fish honors with 2.92 lb. bass caught on a crankbait.

Second place went to the team of Bradley Peregoy (l) and Craig Rust (r) with 9.28 lbs.

Kerr Lake Bassmasters Memorial Day Weekend Bash Open Team Tournament for 2011.

First place and Big Fish honors went to Dennie Gilbert with 11.26 lbs. anchored by his 2.86 lbs. big fish.

Second place went to the team of Kenny and Brandon Reynolds with 10.41 lbs.

30 Teams participated in this year's tournament. The top 4 teams collected prize money, although we do not have a picture of the fourth place team.

Big fish honors went to Tim Davidson with a 5.77 lbs. bass.

Third Place went to the team of David and Dean Evans with 13.75 lbs.


Second place went to Sean Lewis and Mike Gardner with 13.98 lbs.


Top honors went to the team of Gary Wade and Stephen Griggs with 18.05 lbs.

Kerr Lake Bassmasters Fall Classic Open Team Tournament was held out of Longwood Park on Novemeber 7, 2010. First place went to the team of Roy Garner and Wesley Harris with a 5 fish limit of 11.64 lbs.

Big Fish honors went to Kenneth Shaffer with a 3.03 lb largemouth bass.

Second place went to the team of Dennie and Blake Gilbert with 11.28 lbs., including Big Fish honors with a 3.37 lbs. bass.

Second place went to the team of Tony Lamar and Donnie Avant, just behind the Inmans with 12.03 lbs.

Tony took big fish honors with a 3.8 lb. bass.

Kerr Lake Bassmasters held their annual Early Bird Tournament on February 28, 2010.

First place went to the team of Dennie Gilbert and Bobby Crisman led by Dennie's 3.11 lb. Big fish.

Second place went to the team of Wesley Harris and Randy Waterman.

Kerr Lake Bassmasters hosted an Open Team Tournament on October 31, 2009. Barry Jackson took Big Fish honors with a 4.67 lb. bass caught on a Rattle trap. Barry and his partner Donnie Avant won the tournament with a total weight of 9.91 lbs. Congratulations gentlemen!

Kerr Lake Bassmasters hosted a Region Five Adam and Eve Tournament on October 3, 2009. The winning team was Roy and Lisa Garner with ~8 lbs. Tim and Vicki Love took second place as well as Big Fish honors with a 3 lbs.+ bass.

Kerr Lake Bassmasters hosted an open team tournament on Saturday August 8, 2009 out of Longwood Park. Congratulations to the winning team of Ronnie and Christy McMillan. Christy also took big fish honors with a 4.38 lb. largemouth caught on a buzzbait. (A larger image is available here.)
